От пътуващо студио за ситопечат до авторски издания

In 2013  me and the Bulgarian Urban Artist Valeri Gyurov (GIFTED:) realized with partners from all over Bulgaria a tour with a moveable screen printing studio. We introduced a large group of people to the technique of Do It Yourself screen printing. Thanks to the support of Goethe Institut Sofia workshops have been hold for free in Burgas, Pleven, Plovdiv, Ruse, Shumen and Sofia.

During this period I introduced Nadezhda Georgieva and she got so inspired, that one year after, she founded Sito Studio. Today Sito Studio is well known in the Bulgarian illustration and urban art world for their well done prints and contemporary illustrations. Sito Studio was the first place of it’s kind and for four years teached over 250 people in the technique. Nadezhda Georgieva would like to share with you the future plans for the studio and the story behind. She will also show some of her recent drawstring bags, t-shirts, prints and give you a sparkle about independent working and creating your own art products.

I will talk about the „2013 - Screen Printing Bulgaria tour“, my printed works after my stay in Bulgaria and of course about recently printed works -  hand printed Egozines. For my Egozines i used spray painted papers from visited places around the world and folded those papers to DIY Egozines.

In 2018 I already realized two Egozines - „Tel Aviv - Israel…“ and „April 2018“

After the presentation we will print live new works on papers painted in Bulgaria. The fresh prints will be directly for sale.

"Murals Of The Future" - lecture in Kassel

Friday 16th March i hold a lecture in Kassel about my works of past, present and future. In the lecture i explain my development of murals from unauthorized works to official performances such as the Murals Of The Future-series together with Stefan Schwarzer.

Tains, Travels & Papers - solo show at TEGN: Art space

In April I'm invited for a solo show at TEGN: Art-space in Jyderup/DK. The space is located in a town with only 4000 inhabitants. It will be really interesting to present my works in the countryside area of Denmark, because my works are usually much connected to urbanism and metropolitain chaos. At least Jyderup has a train line including a station.

The show starts on 28th April. On the same day i present my catalogue "Trains , Travels & Murals". Thanx a lot for the invitation to Anders Reventlov.

Hot off the press I present my catalogue "Trains, Travels & Murals" on Friday 17th February at Magic City. My second catalogue gives an overview of murals, works done during travels and well in media recognizable pieces. Works from nearly one decade are combined with texts of international art critics, curators and researchers. On 120 pages this catalogue shows my development and most important steps on my artistic path. The catalogue is published multilingual - English & German. I'm really happy and proud to present the catalogue - Thanx a lot to all supporters.

PechaKucha Dresden - Vol. 10

Thursday, 21st. January 2016, the 10th edition of Pecha Kucha in Dresden will happen. I speak about contemporary muralism - but no Mural-Festival stuff.

I took already part in 4 more Editions of Dresden Pecha Kucha , and some more Pecha Kuchas in Kosice and Heerlen .. i love the way of presentation - fast and straight.

Kresna - Pampa - Varna

The last two stops brought me in two directions. For my first stop i went to the south of Sofia in direction to Greece. Along the trainline I found a nice abandoned old stop. As most people know ( who follow my works constantly ) I'm a bit fanatic about trains and public transport. That's why I used the opportunity to paint the first station named after me - gara beser. After that i moved in direction to the coast to meet up with the most talented street artist (in my eyes) from Bulgaria - Fars. He is not just talented , he is extremly active. While my stay of 4 days in the city of Varna, we went out painting every single day. He showed me a lot of different sights of Varna. We painted at the beach, inside a socialist monument , along the trainline and on a well frequented underpass. All the works were done without permission, but the people enjoyed our works - they offered us drinks (at the beach) or just said "nice work and good luck". Here just one impression - more follow soon, after I hold my final presentation in Sofia at Goethe Institut on 16th of June. An eventlink is coming soon. I'm in Varna again on 12th at the contemporary space to show some of my works in an artist talk. My next stop is Russe - Here i hold my presentation on 3rd of June at Dom Elias Canetti - all infos you can find on the link ( infos exist as well in Български )

german press text : "2500 Quadratmeter bemalte Wandfläche, 18 Künstler, aus 9 Ländern - das Ergebnis von "RAUM City Bilder - Kunst auf Brandwänden" kann sich sehen lassen. Die Friedrichstadt wurde binnen eines Jahres um 10 großformartige Murals reicher und ist Europas "großformatigste" Galerie unter freiem Himmel für Zusammenarbeiten der Urban Art. Jens Besser lud dazu internationale Künstler u.a. aus Kanada, USA, Italien, Spanien oder Bulgarien ein. Die Künstler schufen innerhalb weniger Tage Wandbilder in intensiver Zusammenarbeit. Die Stilvielfalt zeigt einen Überblick über zeitgenössische Wandmalerei - von abstrakt über comichaft bis gegenständlich. LOKO11 - Heerlen

After holding a succesfull pecha kucha presentation about "muralismo morte" at Pecha Kucha Maastricht , I'm invited to present "Lak Aan Braak" at LOKO11 in Heerlen. LOKO11 is "the national convention of commissioned art professionals of netherlands". It takes place at the Royal Theater in Heerlen. We will offer a guided tour.
