this is my last work " neue welt", made together with schwarzer stefan from Leipzig. a close friend and really good artist. we painted for 2 days at Friedrichstadtzentral and finally had pain in neck,arms and brain

"sneak paint run"- stop motion loop

this stop motion shortfilm is called "sneak paint run". it s part of my stipend series " just another nighshift" about trainpainters. during my stay in milano cenrale i collected as much as possible trenitalia tickets ... when my train to verona left i had around 30 tickets and i started to sketch in the train. at least for about 2 hours. "sneak paint run" is part of the exhibition " generation x generation y " at galerie adlergasse/ runde ecke in Dresden.

"Stencil und Sticker" -Workshop im Rahmen von "Abendakademie - riesa efau"

Stencil , zu deutsch Schablonengraffiti , ist die wohl bekannteste Technik der jungen Street Art. Mithilfe selbstangefertigter Schablonen werden nahezu fotorealistische Abbilder von Mensch, Natur und Technik in den Strassen der Großstädte platziert. Der Kurs vermittelt Grundlagen und Weiterentwicklungen der Schablonentechnik. Im ersten Teil des Workshops erstellt jeder Teilnehmer eine Selbstportrait-Schablone. Die Schablone wird dann auf selbsthergestellten Stickern gesprüht . Im zweiten Teil wird eine großformatige, fotorealistische,mehrfarbige Schablone erstellt, die im öffentlichen Raum an einer Wand (legal) platziert wird. Nach dem Kurs ist jeder Teilnehmer dazu in der Lage eigene Schablonen zu erstellen und zu sprühen.
Zeitraum 20.4.-25.5.2010 immer Dienstags , je 18-21 Uhr (20.4. , 27.4. , 4.5. , 11.5. , 18.5., 25.5. )

"Video-Stencil"-Workshop im Rahmen von "Abendakademie - riesa efau"

Aufbauend auf dem Street Art Stencil-Workshop , bietet der Video-Stencil Kurs die Möglichkeit mit Schablonengraffiti einen Stop-Motion-Kurzfilm zu erstellen. Bei Stop-Motion Filmen werden einzelne StandBilder zu Sequenzen zusammengestellt. Stencil als einfach Vervielfältigungstechnik bietet dazu eine ideale Grundlage. Als Motive dienen u.a. Bewegungsabläufe, grafische Bildelemente.

paintings on the trip

on my south-euro-trip i made lot s of small paintings. one of my favorite sketch surface been tickets of trenitalia. they offer a beautifull heaven-like background. nice typography. tickets at least been always around me on the trip with shlomo faber.
